Merry Christmas!
Tom, Tim, the (nee) Teichert sisters, Dad, and Nancy (as well as two well-behaved dogs) opened presents in Sacramento on Christmas morning. It has been a good three or four years since this happened, and we all had a ball!

A week later, Rick, Tess, and Tess's mom Joce joined Tom and Mary for New Year's in Carmel.
After a game (and champagne!) filled New Year's Eve, we spent part of a lovely New Year's day on Carmel beach.

Tom and Tess were the first ones in the water.
And as we walked along, Tom, Rick, and Rick's little backpack-buddy made their way along the sand bar while Joce and I watched from a safe (dry) distance.
